Prior to co-founding 127 Energy, Ken was President & CEO of Princeton Power Systems, Inc. (PPS). At Princeton Power Systems, he has worked on islandable grid-tied and off-grid micro-grid systems globally including U.S. National Park sites, Africa, and private islands owned by high net worth individuals. Prior to entering the energy storage arena, Ken’s decade of renewable energy experience included thin film, organic and crystalline silicon photovoltaics firms. Ken had leadership roles in the semiconductor, optical communications and power electronics industries including five years as Managing Director starting up new businesses whilst resident in China and Japan. He has extensive international experience having done business in more than 35 countries. Ken holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University and MBA Marketing/Finance from the University of Richmond.
