Overview
127 Energy engineered and delivered a 250 kW/550 kWh battery storage system as part of a resilient clean energy microgrid for the Castello di Amorosa winery located in Calistoga, CA. The battery system interfaces with other energy assets present at the winery, such as a new 450 kW solar array and backup generator. Not only will the winery benefit from hours of clean backup power in the event of a utility grid outage, the battery system will increase the winery’s overall operational flexibility and energy efficiency, and offset carbon emissions and electricity costs.
