Overview

127 Energy developed and completed a 5 MW solar PV and EV charging portfolio across three public high schools. 127 Energy was able to finance the project, including a multi-million dollar roof replacement at one of the schools, via a third-party Power Purchase Agreement. The District had no out-of-pocket costs and will realize significant annual energy savings from the rooftop, ground-mounted, and parking canopy solar arrays. The solar arrays will displace more than 5,000 tons of carbon ​dioxide annually, equivalent to offsetting carbon emissions from more than 1,000 passenger vehicles per year or planting over 80,000 trees. The District will soon become a regional leader in promoting environmental stewardship alongside students, teachers, and parents.
