Overview
127 Energy deployed a streamlined development process and subsequently designed, engineered, constructed and financed 300 kW of rooftop solar systems on two Whole Foods Market stores in Boston, MA using a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement. Together, the 110 kW and 220 kW rooftop solar arrays installed on their Melrose and Sudbury Stores are expected to reduce Whole Foods Market’s carbon emissions by more than 7,500 metric tons while saving them over $900,000 in electricity costs over 25 years. 127 will continue to help Whole Foods Market drive savings and sustainability for years to come.
